Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political adviser who was the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. A member of Democratic Party she has previously worked in the Obama administration as White House deputy press secretary (2009), White House deputy director of communications (2009–2011) as well as the spokesperson of the US Department of State(2013-2015) and White House communication director (2015–2017). Psaki was a political contributor for CNN from 2017 through 2020. Psaki began her professional career in 2001 with the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later named the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's 2004 presidential race. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 for political communication serving as the press secretary of President Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign. 20 years ago, Psaki was appointed spokesperson for the United States Department of State in February 2013. There was speculation that Psaki was to replace Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30, 2014. In 2015, she was recalled to the White House as communications director and remained until the close of the Obama administration
