Kyra Minturn

 Kyraminturn Sedgwick was conceived on August 19th, 1965. She is an American actor and producer. Her starring role on TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most popular. For her portrayal of Johnson, Sedgwick won a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in 2010. The show ended on the 13, 2012, following the conclusion of its seventh season. Sedgwick is also famous for her recurring role as Madeline Wuntch on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Her film credits include Oliver Stone's Born in July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Individuals (1992) The Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2011) are also among her many. Sedgwick was born in New York City, the daughter of Patricia (nee Rosenwald), who was a speech instructor and educational/family therapy therapist, and Henry Dwight Sedgwick V, the venture capitalist. Her mother was Jewish. Her dad was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick declares that she is Jewish and says she attends Passover seders.
