Lara Logan
Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 is an South African television journalist and war reporter. She was an CBS News reporter from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes' executive producers Jeff Fager and Lara Logan have called her factually incorrect and biased report on the 2012 Benghazi attacks "the biggest error I've made in my entire decade of watching." In 2019 she joined the Sinclair Broadcast Group, a conservative media company. In January of 2020 she joined Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service operated by Fox News. She claimed that she was "dumped" by Fox Nation in March 2022. Logan worked as an assistant news reporter for Durban's Sunday Tribune (1988-1989) and the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she joined Reuters Television in Africa, predominantly as an executive producer. After four years she decided to venture into freelance journalism and was assigned as a reporter, editor/producer and editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. She worked for CNN, reporting on incidents like the 1998 United States embassy bombings in Nairobi and Tanzania as well as the ongoing conflict in Northern Ireland, and the Kosovo war
